Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa is a type of yoga that links movement and breath to attain balance in the mind and body. “to place in a special way,” vinyasa aligns a deliberate sequence of poses with the breath to achieve a continuous flow. Inhalation is usually connected to upward, open movements, while exhalation is often tied to downward movements or twists.

Hatha Yoga is a system of physical exercises for the control and perfection of the body that constitutes one of the four chief Hindu disciplines

Iyengar Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a slower-paced, more meditative version of the popular physical and spiritual discipline of yoga. In Yin yoga, the poses are held for a long period of time (typically three to five minutes or longer) to target the connective tissues (such as the ligaments) rather than focusing on the muscles. As a result, the asanas are more passive holds, with little muscular engagement.

Kundalini Yoga

The primary aim of Kundalini yoga is to awaken the kundalini energy, which lies coiled, serpent-like, at the base of the spine. In Kundalini yoga, practitioners use breathing exercises, physical postures, chanting and meditation to unlock this energy.

I graduated from the Awakened Life School of Yoga’s Costa Rica class in 2015. Certified in Vinyasa Yoga, but also continuing credits in Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Meditation. I added an extra step to my credentials by becoming certified in Trigger Point Therapy in 2020. My idea and what I really love doing, is to really help people in every way I possibly can. Mentally, physically and emotionally. Using different practices to aid in full body healing. Let me help you.
